Farmer Jaffe has received another prestigious recognition for the firm’s substantial pro bono work and support for the cause of securing justice for the underprivileged and underserved in Broward County and beyond.
Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LAS) and Coast to Coast Legal Aid of South Florida (CCLA) have selected Farmer Jaffe as the winner of the Law Firm of the Year Award for the 15th annual For the Public Good event slated to be held on Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Hyatt Regency Pier Sixty-Six in Fort Lauderdale. The award honors a firm that sets the bar high in Broward County by volunteering countless hours each year for pro bono representation of clients who otherwise would not be able to afford an attorney and provide generous financial support for the organizations and their signature fundraisers, For the Public Good and Bridge to Justice.
“Ensuring access to the legal system is one of the core principles of Farmer Jaffe, dating back to our firm’s inception,” said Farmer Jaffe partner Steve Jaffe. “We believe in the need to help young lawyers and the entire legal community understand the responsibilities we all share to support this cause. We have backed that message by taking cases to help bring justice and fairness to those in need. That will endure as our legacy.”
