Farmer Jaffe’s Adam Horowitz Appears on WSVN to Discuss Sexual Battery Arrest of ‘Life Coach’

Farmer Jaffe sexual abuse attorney Adam Horowitz represents the victim of Michael Bellamy, a state-contracted “life coach” who was arrested this week and charged with three counts of sexual battery of a victim over the age of 12 with disabilities in Broward County, Florida. Horowitz, who also represented Bellamy’s alleged victim in a civil suit that was ultimately settled, discussed Bellamy’s arrest with WSVN 7 News.

Bellamy, 56, is the owner of Lauderhill, Florida-based Opulent Living and served as the “life coach” of Horowitz’s 31-year-old client, a woman who has a mental disability. His job included assisting the woman and her two young children with daily errands. A police report filed in Plantation, Florida states that Bellamy allegedly began forcing the woman to have sex with him in early 2014.

Horowitz told the Sun-Sentinel that Bellamy took advantage of “Broward County’s most vulnerable people.” Arresting Bellamy is an important step because “putting him behind bars makes our community safer,” Horowitz said.
