An Osecola County, Florida jury has found prominent businessman Loomes Wheeler, Jr. guilty of sex offenses with two girls as young as 5 years old.  Wheeler is best known at the owner of the 217-acre Horse World Riding Stables in Poinciana.  He was found guilty on seven charges and is scheduled to be setenced May 22, 2015.

The 71-year old Kissimmee millionaire disappeared from authorities two years ago after he was arrested.  He was found hiding in the Bahamas in April 2014.  In April 2013, police said a 9-year-old girl said she was battered by Wheeler starting at the age of 5. Police then searched Wheeler’s home and business at Horse World, snatching up cell phones, cameras and storage devices. They arrested him the next day. During that time, a 20-year-old also came forward and said Wheeler molested her when she was a child.
