Commercial Litigation

What is Commercial Litigation?

“Commercial Litigation” under both state and federal law encompasses a broad spectrum of legal claims, including, breach of contract, fraud, insurance coverage disputes, real estate claims, RICO, antitrust, consumer protection claims, and all sorts of disputes between businesses or between businesses and their clients or customers.

Although based in Florida, the commercial trial attorneys at Farmer, Jaffe, Weissing, Edwards, Fistos & Lehrman, P.L., have represented clients in both state and federal court -- and they have represented plaintiffs and defendants, defending as well as pursuing commercial causes of action.   In fact, the firm’s attorneys have appeared pro hoc vice in courtrooms across the country, assisting in litigation involving complex commercial issues for parties on either side of the docket (plaintiff or defendant).

We counsel our commercial litigation clients on the law – state and federal -- as it applies to the unique facts of their business dispute.  Every case is different and receives our individualized analysis and attention.  At the outset, we craft an effective and aggressive litigation plan, in consultation with our clients, which includes options for settlement and trial.
